Let’s Talk About Me

Let’s talk about me a little bit in this post, as the theme of this season’s Blogchatter Half Marathon is “Let’s talk about you.”

Well, bloggers who have been blogging for the last 10 years know me, but the bloggers who started blogging recently may not have heard about me. The reason is I’m not regular in blogging for the last few years. So, I take this marathon as an opportunity to reintroduce myself.

My name is Ravish Mani. I’m a life adviser and story consultant. I have a fascination for the human mind. Being an introvert, I prefer the route of reading to know people. I believe that you don’t read a book, you read a mind. I love reading books, and through books, the mind of their authors.

Yesterday, in reply to my comment, I receive this:

A screenshot of Tomichan's comment in which he says that Ravish Mani is an outstanding reader who understands the soul of the writer.

You can read my views on Tomichan’s latest book here. It’s very difficult to talk about oneself. So, I’d like you to read what others say about me. Let me share with you some milestones in my online journey. Earlier, I used to write motivational posts. In one of my posts, I received the following comment:

After that people started to approach me through mail & then skype. This is how I became a life adviser. Similarly, one day, I received a mail in my inbox in which I was offered a copy of a book and was asked to review it or quote from it in my motivational posts. When I started to write reviews, authors began to approach me for beta reading. After doing beta reading for some time, I was getting requests for services related to developmental editing and story consultancy.

I am also an author of 5 books, including an audiobook. In my Youtube interview below, I am talking about my writing journey in detail and my latest book The Story of STORY: Why People Read Stories?

In my Instagram interview below, I’m talking about my book See Through Words, which deals with the Zen Way of Living. The topics I discussed in the interview are the difference between dhyana and meditation, choicelessness, unattachment, egolessness, nothingness, etc. My part begins at 25:29 minutes.

Today, podcast & audiobook are very popular, but when I released my audiobook Break Free the Leader Within: 12 Qualities of Effective Leadership, they weren’t that popular. My audiobook was the first audiobook for many people. You can find me talking about my audiobook here.

Thanks for visiting.
